Another recording form for long o vowel patterns.
I noticed that the students were all very successful with this sort. I can't tell why they were more successful on long o spelling patterns than last week's long a spelling pattern. I think that I do need to watch Becca's motivation. Although I don't know if the confusion is due to that or a lack of organizational skills. That is something for me to watch more closely.
I can't seem to open any of your links. Can you attach them another way. I would love to see a recording form. Is it a recording sheet you use or the one the students use to sort their words? I'm glad your activities are making a difference in student reading. I am interested in what you end up doing for the students that are finishing quickly.
ReplyDeleteI think I got that issue fixed. Let me know if you still can't open them. Thanks for letting me know.
DeleteI can' t open them either, Jennifer. The link takes me to my google docs page. I still haven't figured out how to link documents, so I have just been taking pictures. I feel like the pictures are hard to read, especially the ones of my excel spreadsheets. If you get it worked out please let me know.
ReplyDeleteI can't open them either. Having the same trouble...but I can definitely see your students are making progress. It does seem Becca is enjoying reading more based on what you said about her wanting to read her story book more than do the word sorts. I can't wait to watch these recordings!
